This course is primarily an information course, introducing the Mems industry and the existing Mems markets with a strong focus on the analysis of the new emerging Mems devices : new applications, criteria of success, technology needs … The course gives a detailed economical and technical analysis of the new applications of MEMS.
The course is aimed at management staff willing to have a better understanding of Mems markets and new opportunities, marketing and sales managers and those interested in gaining a wider understanding of new Mems businesses.
Jean-Christophe Eloy from YOLE Development, France. Jean-Christophe Eloy has been 6 years manager of the marketing department of LETI (France). He then created the semiconductor practice at Ernst & Young in Europe. Jean Christophe Eloy has created in 1998 YOLE Développement, worldwide leader of market research and strategy consulting in the Mems fields. Jean-Christophe Eloy is involved since 1992 in the Mems areas, for the analysis of devices markets but also including analysis of the development of the markets and applications of capital equipment and materials for the development and manufacturing of devices. He is member of the board of the International Mems Steering Committee of Semi (in charge of industry statistics world wide) and is member of the board of several companies in Europe and USA.
